We are excited about the journey God has placed us on together. It is a journey with highs and lows, however Jesus remains Lord. It is Jesus’ Lordship over the fluctuations of life which makes us, as Pastor’s, know that when situation of various shades arrive, they are created not to make us bitter but better.Over many years this word has informed my thinking and the lens that I view the people and many situations that are tinted with H.O.P.E The message that God has given me is one in which H.O.P.E is the backbone to the skeleton of life. The VisionA definition of Vision is to see, to witness (in a dream or vision). I have witnessed, I have seen H.O.P.E. My eyes and mind have clearly and intelligently recorded the message for the church, community and society to understand that H.O.P.E is a necessary value extricable linked to the future yet it needs to be based in the present.“Write the Vision and make it plain” The Vision I believe is what God has shown a leader. This revealing then has to be written and made clear. H.O.P.E Ministries has a vision. This vision has been followed and is developing and now emerging with new entities. Over the years of studying the Word, Holy Spirit has lead me to declare the word H.O.P.E. I have known and experienced this word as a young child and teenager. However, on reflection, this one word has developed me and is in me, as a cornerstone of my testimony. Definitions of the word H.O.P.ETo look forward with confidence to that which is good and beneficial. ‘and we had hoped that he would be the one who was going to redeem Israel (Luke 24:21) To Hope in a prior manner, either beforehand or prior to someone else to hope beforehand, to the first to hope. ‘Let us, then who are the first to hope in Christ, praise God’s glory’ (Ephesians 1:12) That which constitutes the cause or reason for hoping – “the basis for hope, the reason for hope”. “for who is the basis for our hope or joy”.
